The project “School of NO Bias” is implemented within the Active Citizens Fund program, implemented by Women On Top and partners Sociality and Openous.
The “School of NO Bias” is a training and networking program for teachers, from primary and secondary education, who want to learn new ways to bring gender equality closer to their classrooms and the educational process.
The project wants to meet three key challenges for girls and young women in Greece:
- The differences in the treatment of boys / girls by teachers and the perpetuation of gender inequalities that cause.
- The “gap of self-confidence” in girls 10-14 years old, prevents them, as young women, from claiming positions of responsibility.
- Occupational segregation, involves low participation of girls and young women in educational and professional fields related to science and technology and in positions of responsibility.
